Horizontal Grid

Description

This example shows how to build a Horizontal Grid.

Steps to Recreate

1. Use the Grid Builder to create the menu (smiles) grid.
   • On Step 2 select menu_name (smile_url) from 'Available field'.
   • On Step 4 select the No sorting option, select the No Page Navigator option and set Record Per Page to empty.
2. Switch to the HTML Mode.
3. For both grids
   • Move <tr class="Row"> before <!-- BEGIN Row --> and </tr> after <!-- END Row -->.
4. For the menu grid
   • Change the menu_name field type from Label to Link.
   • Select menu_link field in the 'Link address' option in its Href Source property.
5. For the smiles grid
   • Set the smile_url Label Content property to HTML.
6. Make cosmetic changes as needed by modifying the text or captions within the HTML.
